One week old!

Everett is one week old today. It's kind of flown by. Luckily I'm able to work part time from home these first few weeks. Today I got an extra long time with Everett as mom got caught up a little bit on resting. Since we've been home from the hospital Everett has been mainly eating and sleeping in 2-3 hour cycles. Today though he had about 2 hours of awake time where he wasn't eating. We read a book, went out back for a bit to listen to the birds and had some tummy time. He rolled over from front to back albeit he had his arms already under him when he woke up. But he almost went back to front with no assistance. He is a strong kid. Kai has been great with him giving him hugs and kisses as saying sweet things like "you're the sweetest thing I ever needed". Everett smiles at him too :).
